Customer Care is key in all organisations and never more so than in the health sector.

This course will provide you with the core skills needed to provide and excel in customer care, specifically aimed at the health sector.

This course is broken down into 4 units covering:

  • Who are customers?
  • What is customer service?
  • Why is it important?
  • Creating the impression
  • Establishing preferences
  • Question, listen and agree
  • Complaints and misunderstanding
  • Confidence and attitude
  • Personal awareness and body language

Throughout the course you will be provided with material to study before moving onto quizzes which will be a combination of multiple choice and specific answer questions. The final unit is the final assessment which when completed will take you to your certificate.

Unit 1

  • Who are our customers?
  • What is customer service within the practice?
  • Why is client care important?

Unit 2

  • Creating the right impression
  • Establishing client preferences
  • Effective questioning, listening skills and reaching agreement

Unit 3

  • Dealing with misunderstanding and complaints
  • Retaining client confidence and developing a client friendly attitude
  • Personal awareness and body language

Unit 4

  • Final Assessment

The minimum requirements to complete this course are:

  • A good standard of English language and grammar
  • The ability to commit to 2 hours self study per week

The course takes 8-10 hours to complete with access being available for 3 months following enrolment.
